PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass forming mold enabling highly accurate and easy manufacturing.SOLUTION: A glass forming mold 120 has a recess forming surface 120a capable of spraying gas, and forms a molten glass gob received on the recess forming surface 120a into a glass gob having a predetermined shape. The glass forming mold 120 includes a first member 122, and a second member 123 that houses the first member 122 and of which inner circumferential portions 1221, 1231, and 1241 are fitted together with outer circumferential portions 1210, 1220, and 1230 of the first member 122. At least either the outer circumferential portions 1210, 1220, and 1230 of the first member 122 or the inner circumferential portions 1221, 1231, and 1241 of the second member 123 has a groove portion formed from one end portion, in which the recess forming surface 120a is formed, to the other end portion. Gas is sprayed through the groove from one end portion, thereby forming the molten glass gob into the glass gob. |
