摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a battery monitoring device which can precisely issue a battery life alarm even when an apparatus is in an operational state.SOLUTION: A battery monitoring device is to be installed in an apparatus using a primary battery as a drive power supply. The battery monitoring device comprises: voltage measurement means which measures an open circuit voltage V1 of the primary battery and an output voltage V2 when a predetermined load current I1 flows; current measurement means which measures the load current I1 of the primary battery; resistance value calculation means which calculates internal resistance R0 of the primary battery on the basis of the open circuit voltage V1, the load current I1, and the output voltage V2; resistance value calculation means which calculates internal resistance Rno of the primary battery that enables the apparatus to normally operate on the basis of the open circuit voltage V1, the load current I1, and the minimum drive voltage specific to the apparatus; and alarm output means which compares the internal resistance R0 and Rno and issues a battery life alarm when the internal resistance R0>Rno is detected.
