PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an application to be more easily used.SOLUTION: It is determined whether or not initial start of an application is commanded by a user or by an operating system (S702). When it is determined that the command is made by the user, a splash screen is displayed (S715). When it is determined that the command is made by the operating system, the application is made resident without displaying the splash screen (S704). When the user commands start of the resident application (S705), it is determined whether or not a screen based on the start command by the user is displayed for the first time (S706). When it is determined that the screen display is not for the first time, the splash screen is not displayed. When it is determined that the screen display is for the first time, the splash screen is displayed (S707). |
