PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state fuel cell having high durability, the output of which is high even when the operating temperature is relatively low.SOLUTION: The cathode 10 of a solid oxide fuel cell 1 includes a first layer 11, and a second layer 12. The first layer 11 contains a lanthanum strontium manganite that is an oxide having an element ratio of (LaSr)Mn(range of X:0.5-0.9, range of a:0.0-0.2), and an oxygen ion conductive material that is scandia stabilized zirconia or scandia stabilized zirconia doped with a metal oxide. The second layer 12 contains, as a main component, lanthanum strontium manganite that is an oxide having an element ratio of (LaSr)Mn(range of X:0.5-0.9, range of a:0.0-0.2). Content of oxygen ion conductive material in the second layer 12 is lower than that in the first layer 11. |
