PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the overall height of a loaded paper bundle.SOLUTION: A post-processing device includes: a loading part 35 for compiling, which forms a paper bundle by accumulating a plurality of pieces of paper; a stapleless binding mechanism 50 for forming a slit and a tongue part in the paper bundle and for binding the paper bundle by inserting the tongue part into the slit; an eject roll 39 for conveying the paper bundle bound by the stapleless binding mechanism; and a loading part for loading the paper bundle. The stapleless binding mechanism includes a first stapleless binding mechanism 50a for binding the paper bundle on one side in a direction crossing the conveyance direction of the paper bundle, and a second stapleless binding mechanism 50b for binding the paper bundle on the other side. A tamper 38, which arranges the paper bundle bound by the first stapleless binding mechanism 50a and the paper bundle bound by the second stapleless binding mechanism 50b in different positions in the direction crossing the conveyance direction of the paper bundle on the loading part and which arranges the tongue part formed in the one paper bundle in such a manner that the tongue part deviates from the other paper bundle, is also provided. |
