PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which, by using an intermediate electrode having both sufficient conductivity and light permeability, exhibits excellent controllability of color tones in a tandem type organic electroluminescence element, thus making the display device excel in color reproducibility.SOLUTION: The display device comprises: a first electrode 5 and a second electrode 7; a plurality of luminous units 3-1, 3-2 and 3-3 having luminescent layers of different luminescent colors composed by using an organic material and disposed one on top of another between the first electrode 5 and the second electrode 7; transparent conductive layers 1b-1 and 1b-2 composed by using silver or alloy containing mainly silver and disposed between the luminous units 3-1, 3-2 and 3-3; nitrogen-containing layers 1a-1 and 1a-2 composed by using a nitrogen atom containing compound and disposed in proximity to the transparent conductive layers 1b-1 and 1b-2. |
