PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, a display method, and a program capable of accurately indicating a measurement range of an object which is displayed on a display unit.SOLUTION: The display device includes: a photographing unit for imaging an object OB; a display unit for displaying an image obtained from the photographing unit; a control unit for obtaining coordinate data of a pressing point on the display unit; a depth calculation unit for calculating a boundary line of the object OB; an auxiliary selection unit for calculating at least one or more candidate points K on the boundary line adjacent to the coordinates of the pressing point P; and an image processing unit for displaying a mark of the pressing point P and the candidate point K. Further, the control unit includes a distance calculation unit for calculating a distance between a first indication point A1 and a second indication point A2 which are determined by a user.
