PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sort an object depending on whether it contains a filler.SOLUTION: A sorting method for sorting filler-containing plastic objects from an object group 2 includes conveying the object by a conveyance means 21, heating a surface portion of the conveyed object by a heating means to raise the temperature thereof to higher than a melting point thereof, detecting the absorbance of a specific wavelength in the infrared region on the surface of the object by a detector 22, determining that the object is a filler-containing plastic object when the absorbance is more than a given threshold, and extracting the determined filler-containing plastic object or the other objects from the object group. |
