PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, an image generation method, and a program which can generate an image blog displayed by associating a character string with an image that is through-displayed in photographing.SOLUTION: When subjects (target images) 91 and 92 within a camera view field through-displayed in photographing are selected, an attribute or a season of the target image is automatically acquired by image recognition processing and a calendar function built in a camera, and kinds of words (character strings) corresponding to photographing environment or a state of the target images 91 and 92 such as behavior or expression are displayed so as to be selectable. Next, character strings 93-1 and 94-1 (or 93-2 and 94-2) are displayed by narrowing processing. An image blog which is displayed by associating the character string with the target image, is generated. |
