PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair capable of achieving smooth riding thereon from a bed regardless of the height level of the bed.SOLUTION: A wheelchair 1 includes: a seat-sliding mechanism for sliding a seat 6 backward with a predetermined stroke; a seat-elevating mechanism for moving vertically the seat 6 with a predetermined stroke; an armrest flip-up mechanism for deforming armrests 10, 10 between a horizontal position and a tilt position where a back-end thereof leaps upward; and a backrest-deforming mechanism for deforming a backrest 11 between a closing position for closing the portion between the armrests 10, 10 and a releasing position for releasing the armrests 10, 10. |
