<p>A method for generating display data comprises detecting user input via an input interface. A processor is in communication with the input interface to generate display data comprising a display object for display by a display device. The display object is representative of an action that will subsequently be performed by the processor on continuation of the user input. The display data on the display device is output whilst the user input is being detected. Alternatively, the display object is caused to appear on the display device over time as the user input is being performed, wherein the rate at which the display object appears is different to the rate of performance of the user input. A device and executable computer program for performing the steps of the method is also provided.</p> |
