PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid ejection apparatus that controls occurrence of ejection unevenness more.SOLUTION: A printer 10 determines occurrence of a prescribed error, and after setting a move direction of a print head 42 as a set print direction, and before execution of the pass to eject the ink by making the print head 42 move to one direction out of the reciprocating movements, makes a RAM 64 store the set print direction as the print direction information 71. Moreover, the pass is executed in the set printing direction, and even if an error is occurred in the execution of the pass, the print processing of this pass is continue and completed, and in addition, in the pass next to the pass where the error has occurred under execution of the pass, the print direction is set to the direction reverse to the print direction of the print direction information 71. Thus the print processing is continued and completed even if the error has occurred in the execution of the pass, and in the next processing, the print direction is set the direction reverse to the print direction of the print direction information 71, therefore the order of the passes in the way and the way back can be maintained more certainly. |
