PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrode having superior binding force by using aqueous binder for a battery electrode having specific gel content and elastic modulus, and to obtain, as a result, a battery having excellent electrical characteristics such as high-rate discharge characteristics and charge/discharge cycle characteristics.SOLUTION: An aqueous binder for a battery electrode is provided, which is characterized in that the gel content of dry film is 5 to 70% and a storage elastic modulus at 95°C is 1.6×103 N/cm2 or less. |
