PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road/rail working vehicle capable of charging a battery for traveling in either cases of road traveling or rail traveling, and capable of traveling on a rail according to a working condition or charging a capacity of the battery for traveling.SOLUTION: A road/rail working vehicle includes a traveling mode setting unit 51 which selects and sets a traveling mode among a road traveling mode, in which the vehicle is made to travel on a road using output of an engine while charging electric power generation to the battery 61 by driving a generator 63 by the engine, a first rail traveling mode in which the vehicle is made to travel on the rail using electric power from the battery 61 while charging the generated power to the battery 61 by driving the generator 63 with the engine, and a second rail traveling mode in which the vehicle is made to travel on the rail using electric power from the battery 61 while stopping the engine according to the storage state of an iron wheel and the storage state of a working bench which are detected by detectors 71, 72, and a traveling control unit 52 which controls traveling based on the traveling mode set by the traveling mode setting unit 51. |
