PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device properly analyzing the cause of abnormality of a fuel injection system.SOLUTION: A fuel injection control device analyzes the cause of abnormality generated in a fuel injection system (S404, S406, S412, S414, S418), on the basis of a combination of determination results of whether or not abnormality of a failure in control function has occurred in the fuel injection system (S400), whether or not abnormality of a decrease in control performance has occurred in the fuel injection system (S408), and whether or not there are many clogging records of a fuel filter (S402, S410, S416). It is contemplated that the failure in control function of the fuel injection system occurs due to the biting of large foreign matter that cannot be captured into a sliding part or a valve part of a fuel supply pump or a fuel injection valve and the decrease in control performance of the fuel injection system occurs due to the biting of small foreign matter that cannot be captured into the sliding part or the valve part of the fuel supply pump or the fuel injection valve. |
