PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular light alloy lower arm capable of preventing deformation and breakage by improving rigidity and strength.SOLUTION: In a vehicular light alloy lower arm 1 which is constituted of extruded materials of a light alloy and of which the front and rear ends are attached to right and left ends of a suspension frame via bushings, a first extruded material 2 and a second extruded material 3 are formed separately by extrusion molding, both members are joined by friction stir welding, and a rib 2A is formed at the joint. In addition, the first extruded material 2 is constituted in a closed cross section and one side of the outer periphery thereof is constituted as the rib 2A. The joints (recessed parts 2a and projection parts 3a) of the first extruded material 2 and the second extruded material 3 are formed inside the width direction of the rib 2A. |
