PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intellectual training toy which allows extremely complicated figures to be formed by appropriately disposing a plurality of pieces and auxiliary pieces which have very simple shapes and patterns.SOLUTION: In an intellectual training toy, side faces of a plurality of pieces 1, respective of which form regular triangular prisms of the same size and side faces of a plurality of auxiliary pieces 2 which form right regular triangular prisms by respectively cutting the regular triangular prisms with a flat surface that is configured by extending a vertical line dropped to an opposite side from one of apexes on one of end faces of the prisms to the other end face in parallel to the axis of the regular triangular prisms are disposed in close proximity to side faces of adjacent pieces 1 or auxiliary pieces 2 respectively. Thus, patterns formed by a set of end faces are obtained. |
