The present invention relates to an aircraft checking method for reaching an aircraft to a stand or a boarding gate on an aircraft to connecting a passenger bridge (1) or a cargo bridge to a door of the aircraft. The aircraft is arranged and stopped at the scheduled position by using non-contact measurement of the distance between the aircraft and a fixed position, and the distance is displayed on a displayer (6) installed on the front side of a pilot of the aircraft. The displayer (6) is to show the position, a model, and a version of the current aircraft (6). The measurement and the display are operated by a computer system (20) included in an airport or manually, and an antenna (16) receives information (17) transmitted by the aircraft (5). The present invention extracts identification number and vertical and horizontal coordinates of the aircraft from the information (17) at least and obtains the information related to the model and the version of the corresponding aircraft in respect to the identification number from database in which the identification number of the aircraft is stored. The information is transmitted to a control system (18) of the display (6), and the control system (18) displays the model and the version of the aircraft on the displayer of the stand where the aircraft will be reached. |
