PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of clogging of a developer within a hollow guiding path connecting upper and lower chambers.SOLUTION: A developer conveyance device 14 of an image forming apparatus 1 conveys a residual developer collected from a photoreceptor drum 8 after a transfer processing to a developing roll 11. In the developer conveyance device 14, a conveyance auxiliary member 21 is provided within a guiding tube 20 on the residual developer conveyance path. The conveyance auxiliary member 21 is integrally formed by a first part 21a extending from an upper part of the guiding tube 20 to a position of a lower part contacting with a conveyance member 14e, and a second part extending from a halfway position of the first part 21a to a position of the lower position contacting the conveyance member 14e are bended so as to cross each other at each boundary part thereof. When the residual developer is conveyed, the conveyance auxiliary member 21 is repeatedly deformed and restored by rotation of the conveyance member 14e to undermine the residual developer within the guiding tube 20, and thereby prevent the clogging of the residual developer. |
