PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for introducing an installation unit capable of accurately introducing the installation unit only by feeding a shaft member without forming a special portion for introducing the installation unit to a casing.SOLUTION: A method for introducing an installation unit includes: circumferentially rotating and axially advancing/retracting a shaft member 8 having a blade member connected thereto to cut a fluid pipe or form an opening thereto in a casing 2 hermetically attached to the fluid pipe 1, and disposing the installation unit 37 in the cut or opened portion so as to face a predetermined direction using the shaft member 8 in a state where fluid flow does not stop. The shaft member 8 includes a connection part 81 for fixing the direction of the installation unit 37, and circumferentially positioning the shaft member 8 so that the connection part 81 is directed corresponding to the installation position of the installation unit 37, as well as after rotation of a rotation member 12 for rotating the shaft member 8 is restricted relative to an advancing/retracting member 13 for moving the rotation member 12 in the axial direction, the installation unit 37 is connected to the connection part 81, and the shaft member 8 is advanced in the axial direction by the advancing/retracting member 13 via the rotation member 12, whereby the installation unit 37 directed to the predetermined direction is disposed. |
