PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mailbox which is weather-protective and has an excellent appearance.SOLUTION: A mailbox includes a parcel box 1, a mailbox 2, and an opening/closing hinge 7 of the mailbox 2. The parcel box 1 has a top plate 3, right and left side walls 4, a back wall 6 and a bottom plate 5 and is box-shaped with an opened front. The mailbox 2 has an overhang 8, a mailbox slot 9, a mailbox slot flap 11 and a mail housing 10 and is coupled with the side walls 4 of the parcel box 1 with the opening/closing hinge 7. The overhang 8 is located in front of the front end of the parcel box 1. The mail housing 10 is provided in the back of the overhang 8, the back face of the overhang 8 touches the front end of the top plate 3 and the front end of the bottom plate 5 of the parcel box 1, and the mail housing 10 is located on the inner circumferences of the top plate 3 and the right and left side walls 4 of the parcel box 1. |
