A dolly for imparting rotary drive to a cable bolt assembly having a shaft and a drive receiving portion which are rotatable with respect to one another, the dolly comprising: a driven portion adapted to engage a drive; a drive imparting portion adapted to engage the drive receiving portion; a shaft drive portion adapted to engage the shaft; the dolly being operative to adopt a first mode to rotate the shaft of the cable bolt assembly and a second mode to rotate the drive receiving portion, wherein rotation of the shaft is in the same direction as rotation of the drive receiving portion.
