PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability by suppressing peeling of a hard coating film in a roller bearing for a paper manufacturing machine with the hard coating film formed thereon.SOLUTION: A roller bearing for a paper manufacturing machine includes a metallic inner ring, a metallic outer ring, and rollers. Surface roughness Ra of a rolling surface of the roller is 0.1-0.2 μm, and the rolling surface is coated with an amorphous carbon coating film. Surface roughness Ra of the amorphous carbon coating film is ≤0.07 μm. |
