PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a worker to surely closely attach a wheel stopper to both a tire and a road surface by a simple operation in a standing posture, without bending his/her body, in a car inspection factory or in a car maintenance factory.SOLUTION: A wheel stopper comprises a square pillar frame (2) having a bottom face serving as an installation face, and a support (2) connected to a surface facing the bottom face in a T-shape. A pair of wheel stopping blocks slidably connected to one side face of the square pillar frame (1) are given an urging force in an approaching direction to each other by a spring (21). By depressing a pedal 11, the wheel stopping blocks (5a, 5b) move to separate from each other, the state is kept by a ratchet, and by operating a lever (5) after setting the same on the front and the rear parts of the grounding face of a tire, the pair of wheel stopping blocks (5a, 5b) are mutually pressed toward the front and the rear direction of the tire grounding face. |
