The method involves providing a first brake torque without friction by a brake balance between a front axle (29) and a rear axle (28) of a vehicle (10), when the vehicle has a first load i.e. maximum load capacity. A second brake torque is provided without friction for the axles, when the vehicle has a second load i.e. zero load capacity, which is lower than first load, where the second brake torque is lower than the first braking torque. A braking is limited without friction on the axles by the first and second braking torques without friction, when the vehicle has the first and second loads.
