The invention relates to a process for producing a transparent cosmetic cleansing composition, comprising the following process steps: a) providing a cosmetic carrier, b) providing a surfactant mixture comprising (i) at least one alkyl (oligo)glycoside and (ii) at least one salt of a sulphosuccinic ester, c) providing a premix - other than b) - comprising (i) at least one water-insoluble component, (ii) at least one amphoteric or zwitterionic surfactant and/or (iii) at least one alkyl (oligo)glycoside, and d) mixing components a), b) and c). The compositions cleanse and nourish the skin and impart a fresh feel thereto.
