A device and method for editing images using depth edge are disclosed. The device for editing the images is capable of preventing depth images with low resolution from blurring caused by the loss of high frequency signals by determining pixel reliability of color images corresponding to the depth images as the depth edge is used and editing the color images as the weighted value of each pixel is set according to the pixel reliability.
