PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide damping water for planographic printing concentrated composition during presswork that shows similar effects to the case of IPA addition such as better wettability to hydrophilic non-image area on the form plate surface, etc., can inhibit defective ink transition and roller stains due to water supply, and has no problem in printed matter quality such as the missing of image areas while printing even in the printing plate for CTP the image area of which is easily corroded by damping water.SOLUTION: A damping water concentrated composition is expressed by a general formula (I) as a result of repeated study on compounds having no typical fault found in any conventional damping water concentrated composition, being environmentally safety and also suitable for components of damping water concentrated composition.
