PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zeolite membrane composite having excellent characteristics in the separation of a gas mixture.SOLUTION: A zeolite membrane composite is used in order to permeate components having high permeability from a gas mixture composed of a plurality of components to separate the same and constituted by forming a zeolite membrane, which contains a zeolite of a CHA type aluminosilicate and in which a value calculated by subtracting the SiO/AlOmolar ratio of the zeolite membrane itself from the SiO/AlOmolar ratio of the surface of the zeolite membrane is 10 or below, on the inorganic porous support.
