PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crusher and a cooling box, which can cool a specimen container that stores tissue before crushing is executed.SOLUTION: A crusher 1 includes: a cooling box 4 which keeps a specimen container 5 cool; a mounting part 6 which mounts and dismounts the cooling box 4 to the crusher 1; and a crushing part 3. The cooling box 4 can hold the specimen container 5, and keeps the specimen container 5 cool by crushed ice being a refrigerant. The mounting part 6 can shift back and forth, whereby the cooling box 4 is mounted to and removed from the crusher 1. The crushing part 3 can shift up and down, and enters the specimen container 5 held under by a cold preserving part 4 to crush tissue inside the specimen container. The cooling box 4 can be removed from the crusher 1, and can cool soluble liquid and tissue before crushing by this cooling box 4. |
