PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs and size of a cleaning mechanism of dust-proof glass of an optical scanner.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a process cartridge storage tray that stores a process cartridge, and is capable of sliding to move between a position for attaching the process cartridge to an apparatus body to be operated and a position for taking out the process cartridge to the outside of the apparatus body for replacement; and a cleaning mechanism that cleans, when the process cartridge storage tray is slid to be moved, the surface of dust-proof glass in conjunction with the movement of the process cartridge storage tray. |
