PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that has a configuration in which toner is conveyed from a toner storage unit arranged below a toner supply roller onto the toner supply roller, and is capable of high-quality image formation without banding.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a developing roller that develops an electrostatic latent image on a photoreceptor drum 1, and a toner supply roller that supplies developer to the developing roller. At a nip part formed by the photoreceptor drum and the developing roller, the surface of the developing roller moves in the same direction as the surface of the photoreceptor drum, and faster than the photoreceptor drum; and at a nip part formed by the developing roller and the toner supply roller, the surface of the toner supply roller moves in the same direction as the surface of the developing roller, and faster than the developing roller. |
