The barrier (1), erected between two posts (3) at the entrance to a zone such as a public garden, consists of two lateral uprights (2a) with inward-facing projections (4) at a height corresponding to the position of an engine on a motorised two-wheeled vehicle, to allow through a bicycle but not a motorised two-wheeled vehicle. A curved bar (5) extending from one upright with a panel (9) at the top carrying a depiction of a bicycle ensures that a cyclist has to dismount before passing through the entrance. A raised base plate (6) with a central groove (10) reinforces the need for a cyclist to dismount.
