PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer ceramic electronic component.SOLUTION: There is provided a multilayer ceramic electronic component, including: a ceramic body including dielectric layers having an average thickness of 0.7 μm or less; external electrodes formed on external surfaces of the ceramic body; and internal electrodes disposed respectively on the dielectric layers across gaps. If Gmin denotes the narrowest gap between opposed outlines of the internal electrodes, then 10 μm≤Gmin≤60 μm can be satisfied.
