PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in waterproofness.SOLUTION: A waterproof connector C1 has a configuration having: a pair of male and female housings 10 and 30 that can fit each other; and a synthetic resin sealing plate 50 held between a pair of opposed surfaces 16 and 35 opposed in a fitting direction in the pair of male and female housings 10 and 30 to seal the pair of male and female housings 10 and 30 with each other. Due to such a configuration, because the sealing plate 50 is made of synthetic resin, it is less likely to be deformed compared with the case that it is made of rubber. In addition, because the sealing plate 50 is sandwiched between the pair of opposed surfaces 16 and 35 of the pair of male and female housings 10 and 30, position shift in the fitting direction is restricted. Therefore, the sealing plate 50 can be maintained in a normal attachment state. In this way, the pair of male and female housings 10 and 30 can be sealed with each other by contacting the sealing plate 50 with the pair of opposed surfaces 16 and 35. |
