METHOD AND DATA COLLECTOR FOR AN INDUSTRIAL PROCESS

It is presented a method of creating a report of a status of an industrial process. The method comprises retrieving (S1) industrial process data comprising a predetermined amount of process variable values in response to a triggering signal, wherein the retrieving comprises retrieving a first portion of industrial process data that has been generated prior to the triggering signal and a second portion of industrial process data that is generated after the triggering signal, and sending (S2) the industrial process data to a report tool to thereby create a report pertaining to the industrial process.A data collector and a control system comprising such a data collector are also presented herein.
