PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust removal device which can remove dust more effectively on a dust removal surface.SOLUTION: The dust removal device makes a vibration member generate at least a vibration of wavelength λ, by applying an alternating voltage, respectively, to a first piezoelectric element and a second piezoelectric element. The first piezoelectric element is provided on a first surface of the vibration member on the same side as the dust removal surface of the vibration member. The second piezoelectric element is provided on a second surface of the vibration member on the side opposite from the first surface. In the projection image of the first and second piezoelectric elements from a direction normal to the dust removal surface, the distance dL1 between the vibration generation end of the first piezoelectric element and the vibration generation end of the second piezoelectric element satisfies a relation dL1>0 (where, dL1≠nλ/2, n is a positive integer). |
