PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load estimation method of a rolling bearing, capable of estimating load applied to the rolling bearing without using sensors.SOLUTION: The load estimation method includes: a replacement step for replacing at least one track member 14 out of a pair of track members 12, 14 of a rolling bearing 10 to be used for an actual machine with a testing track member 14A whose strength is reduced; an operation step for performing operation by applying the rolling bearing 10 using the testing track member 14A to the actual machine; a measurement step for measuring a plastic deformation quantity generated in the testing track member 14A after ending the operation; and an estimation step for estimating load applied to the rolling bearing 10 on the basis of the plastic deformation quantity. |
