PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and quantitatively grasp a curved quality while achieving automatic determination of a curved state of an H-shaped steel.SOLUTION: An H-shaped steel 1 is left to stand on a placing stand 10, a distance sensor 50 is installed so as to be traveled along a longitudinal direction of the placed H-shaped steel 1, opposite distances to a flange surface 1f on a plurality of positions are measured by the distance sensor 50 over one end of the H-shaped steel 1 up to the other end, and a curved state of the flange surface 1f of the H-shaped steel 1 is determined based on information of the opposite distances measured on the plurality of positions. |
