PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical feeder capable of discharging the air generated in a chemical feed line more rapidly and more completely. SOLUTION: The chemical feeder includes: a chemical tank 110 for storing chemical; a chemical feed line L110 for connecting the chemical tank 110 with a feed target line L120 through which chemical is fed; chemical feed means 120 for feeding the chemical stored in the chemical tank 110 to the feed target line L120 through the chemical feed line L110; air detection means 130 for detecting the air in the chemical W110 passing through the chemical feed line L110; and control means 101 that sets an operation mode of the chemical feed means 120 to an air discharge operation mode for discharging air from the chemical feed line L110 to operate the chemical feed means 120 when the air detection means 130 detects the air in chemical W110.
