PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering control device and a vehicular steering control method, capable of improving stability in the wheel steering angle of a wheel to be steered independent on the variation in a braking hydraulic pressure. SOLUTION: In the case that a braking hydraulic pressure is being increased, a braking-hydraulic-pressure-correcting-calculation-unit 61 outputs a braking-hydraulic-pressure-correcting-value corrected by increasing the braking hydraulic pressure when the braking hydraulic pressure is decreased. Then, a road-surface-frictional-coefficient-estimating unit 63 estimates a road surface frictional coefficient on the basis of this braking-hydraulic-pressure-correcting-value.
