The video transmission device transmits content to external devices connected by a network, and comprises: a first memory (103) set by storing and transcoding an inherent device ID of each external device; and a transmission unit (107), which receives a content transmission request and the device ID sent by the external device, when the received device ID is stored in the first memory, by the transcoding set relative to the device ID, transcodes the content appointed by the content transmission request, and transmits the transcoded content to the external device. |
