PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless telephone system having an information terminal and a slave unit connected to each other via a predetermined interface to allow the information terminal to connect to a telephone line via the slave unit and a master unit and to allow the information terminal to send and receive voice data for long period of time by largely reducing the power consumption during a standby mode of the slave unit.SOLUTION: The cordless telephone system includes: a master unit 100 connected to a telephone line; and a slave unit 202 that sends and receives radio waves with the master unit 100 via a radio line. The slave unit 202 includes an interface for connecting to a predetermined information terminal 300. The slave unit 202 sets reception timing asynchronously with transmission timing of the master unit 100 during a standby mode, and establishes synchronism for sending-receiving with the master unit when connecting the information terminal 300 to the telephone line. |
