<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce interference among a plurality of wireless networks. <P>SOLUTION: A wireless communication apparatus includes: a packet generation unit for generating a packet; a modulation unit for modulating a packet according to a first wireless communication scheme; a transmission unit for wirelessly transmitting the modulated packet; a demodulation unit for demodulating a response packet with respect to a packet modulated by another wireless communication apparatus according to a second wireless communication scheme of a different radio wave transfer distance from that of the first wireless communication scheme; an acquisition unit for acquiring a radio wave strength included in the demodulated response packet; a decision unit for determining whether the acquired radio wave strength is greater than a radio wave strength target value which should be defined as a target for the other wireless communication apparatus; and a transmission power control unit for decreasing transmission power, when the acquired radio wave strength is greater than the radio wave strength target value, based on results of the determination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
