<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method, and an apparatus by which a desired dot diameter can be obtained even when a plurality of inks are applied, and at the same time, the ink can be formed at a high adhesion degree even when a recording medium is coated paper. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recording apparatus 1 includes: a processing fluid applying part 12 which applies a processing fluid containing a flocculant on the recording medium 22; a drawing part 14 which applies the plurality of inks which contain a pigment particle (A), a dispersion agent polymer (B) for covering the pigment, and a self-dispersing polymer fine particle (C), where the total amount (B+C) of the polymer component occupies one half or more amount to the total solid component amount (A+B+C), and at the same time, which have different total solid component amounts to the recording medium 22; and a drying part 16 which makes solvents contained in the plurality of inks volatilize.
