The present invention relates to hemp socks and a manufacturing method thereof. Hemp fibers are refined by aerobic microorganisms, and then cut into 70- to 120-mm long fibers, followed by addition of a conditioner and storage in a sealed space for 48 hours. A mixed yarn is manufactured by mixing 20-45 wt% of the hemp fibers, 45-70 wt% of cotton, 5-15 wt% of nylon, and 5-15 wt% of polyester. The mixed yarn is dyed and then manufactured into socks by a sock knitting machine. According to the present invention, the hemp socks are manufactured by refining hemp fibers, which correspond to a natural material, by a biological method, and then mixing with other fibers at proper ratios, thereby anticipating high-quality products without damaging or degrading hemp fibrous characteristics; increasing the product lifespan; inducing no environmental pollution and thus being more environment-friendly as compared with the existing chemical treatment method using toxic chemicals; lowering manufacturing costs; and significantly improving productivity. Further, the thus manufactured socks have excellent absorptivity and diffusivity to promptly absorb and exhaust sweats, thereby leaving no stickiness; have excellent antibiotic properties to prevent invasion and propagation of various microorganisms or fungi; and have excellent deodorizing property to prevent foot odor, thereby being hygienic.
