<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell stack device capable of suppressing deformation of a manifold even if a reformer expands at a high temperature and capable of suppressing generation of cracks in a sealing material. <P>SOLUTION: The cell stack device A is equipped with a reformer 9 to which one end of a fuel gas supply tube 13 is connected respectively to each of the fuel gas dispensing outlet installed at the both end parts along the arrangement direction of a fuel battery cell 1 having a gas passage inside, and the fuel gas supply tube 13 which connects the respective fuel gas dispensing outlet of the reformer 9 and a manifold 7. The fuel gas supply tube 13 has a stress relaxation part 14 at least at one part, thereby, the cell stack device has excellent durability and improved power generation efficiency.
