<p>The cutting tool (1) has band-shaped steel blade (2) which has hardened cutting portion (4) with cutting edge (4a) and contact area (6) with system back (6a) for supporting blade in receiving slot (8) of tool carrier, at longitudinal edges. The blade between cutting portion and contact area has strip shape in blade longitudinally extending deformation zone (12) so that blade is compression-deformable during printing section in blade cross-direction by the application of compression force to change blade height. The hardness of contact area corresponds to hardness of cutting portion.</p> |
