<p>The method involves selecting a virtual raw vent (10), and determining a corner frequency of an acoustic transfer function of the virtual raw vent (12). The virtual vent is determined (13, 14, 15) depending on the corner frequency and preset property of an ear canal or an ear piece i.e. ear adapter. The ear piece is manufactured (16) with an actual vent based on the virtual vent. Selection of the virtual raw vent is performed by adjustment software for adapting a hearing device to an aural acuity of a user. Data about the virtual and/or actual vent are stored in the hearing device.</p> |
