PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desk wherein, when a space in the width direction of the top plate is expanded, the upper surface of the expanded part is nearly flush with the upper surface of the top plate. SOLUTION: The desk 1 includes the top plate 2, an attached panel 5, and a plurality of leg members 3, 4, wherein one leg member 3 can be detachably fixed to the top plate 2 so that two sides of the leg member 3 are not protruded from the side of the top plate 2 and one side of the leg member 3 is protruded outward from the side of the top plate 2, and the attached panel 5 has a planar member 25 and, in a state where the one leg member 3 is fixed to the top plate 2 so that the one side of the leg member 3 is protruded outward from the side of the top plate 2, and the attached panel 5 is mounted on the upper part of the one leg member 3 so that one surface 25d of the planar member 25 is nearly flush with the upper surface 2e of the top plate 2.
